About

I am a clinical integrative nutritionist who uses clinical assessments, laboratory assessments, and genetic profiling to recommend an optimal dietary and lifestyle plan so you can feel your best. There is considerable biochemical variability between individuals, and there is no one-sized-fits-all plan for everyone. I can help you dial in an optimal plan for your goals.

I have a Master’s of Science in Human Nutrition and am currently a doctoral student at Maryland University of Integrative Health. I am also currently preparing for certification as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).

Like many health professionals who enter the field to serve others following personal health challenges and subsequent successes, I have a similar story. About 10 years ago, I found my health declining. I was struggling with overweight, chronic pain, pre-diabetes, and osteoporosis. It has been a journey of making dietary and lifestyle changes in small steps. First my husband and I stopped eating out, and I started preparing meals with whole foods. Then I gradually shifted to organic and grass-fed foods. Then I started addressing nutrient deficiencies. Then I started removing toxicants from my environment, such as personal care products with harmful ingredients . . . and so on. Through this process, I have reached a healthy weight, restored my blood sugar and insulin response, resolved chronic pain, and yes, I have even reversed the osteoporosis without drugs.

It really is a journey. My approach with clients is to help them identify and embark on first steps that will provide the most significant immediate benefits. Once those lifestyle changes feel natural, I can help them identify new lifestyle changes that will help them continue on their journey toward vitality and wellness.
